Torvøya island (Fjord d'Oslo)

During our journey in Norway, we were searching for that quintessential fjord landscape: the one where the sea is flanked by two strips of land and dotted with islands featuring a few traditional, colorful, wooden houses.
We stumbled upon this postcard-perfect scene by chance on our way to Drøbak, and there was even a parking lot where we could stop safely!
Of course, it's from the drone that the landscape reveals all its splendor, and we must admit we were amazed at the sight of the photos taken by the drone.
This deep blue maritime landscape, with its tiny islets, sometimes featuring one or two houses... One could imagine living there just for the idea of calm and tranquility, embodying the Slow Life, a typically Norwegian way of living.
The Reel (short video on Instagram) we created gives an idea of this incredibly restful and soothing landscape.
The light was perfect, the temperature was pleasant (22°C) for a month of May, with barely a gentle breeze. It was ideal for enjoying this idyllic setting.
If you pass by the Oslo Fjord, west shore, don't hesitate to visit this area and enjoy the view.
We highly recommend this place with its incredible scenery.
