Welcome to the historic village of Teguise, which we visited during our stay in Lanzarote.

It's a true gem in the heart of the island that is definitely worth a visit if you enjoy strolling through the narrow streets of a picturesque and historic village.

With its narrow cobblestone streets, whitewashed buildings, and peaceful atmosphere, Teguise is a village that charmed us and that we loved exploring on foot as we wandered its alleys.

Teguise is a village where time seems to stand still

We wandered through the winding streets of the old town.

We really felt like we were discovering a typical Spanish village where time seems to have stopped.

We were completely taken aback by the picturesque architecture of the stone houses with colorful doors, where every corner reveals a new poetic scene to admire or photograph.

Teguise's past is revealed through its historic monuments, such as the majestic Santa Bárbara Castle.

There is also a Sunday market in Teguise, where colorful stalls overflow with local products, traditional crafts, and vintage treasures.

For a well-deserved break, we sat down at the terrace of a quaint café to enjoy traditional cuisine and have a coffee while admiring the streets.
