Florida, the jewel of the United States, offers a multitude of treasures, including its sunsets on the west coast. Celebrated for its sandy beaches and turquoise waters, this region delivers a breathtaking spectacle every evening as the sun sets on the horizon.
We have witnessed sunsets several times on Clearwater Beach. Here, sunsets are simply magical. The orange and pink hues reflect on the calm waters of the Gulf of Mexico, creating an unreal atmosphere.
During a road trip in Florida in 2013, we also had the opportunity to admire the sunset on Sanibel Island. The beaches of this preserved island provide a peaceful setting to enjoy dusk, especially near the Sanibel Beach lighthouse where the setting is magical!
In Naples, sunsets are imbued with a particular elegance. We had the privilege of visiting the city of Naples in Florida in 2008 and 2013, among others. The perfect spot to see the sunset in Naples is undoubtedly the beach, not far from the historic Naples Pier, to ensure successful photos.
Lastly, at Fort Myers Beach, sunsets are equally magnificent, especially with the urban ambiance, skyscraper skyline, and abundant palm trees. We strolled along the waterfront and were able to capture beautiful sunsets, especially with the lifeguard huts on the beach giving the photos a very USA (or Baywatch or Malibu Rescue) vibe.
